On February 14th (the most special day) I put out my second album OtherPlace. It’s a soundtrack I made for a videogame I’m considering making. I was deeply inspired by a few movie soundtracks and Japanese Horror and Japanese Horror videogames, especially those from the early to mid-2000’s.

I have the whole album up for free HERE on Soundcloud and HERE on YouTube. I will probably put it up on my Bandcamp soon. I am locked out of my original Frost Flowers account so I had to make a new one and I’m still setting that up.

The story behind this album is following a mysterious whispering light portal in the woods and being taken to a world (OtherPlace) that is a mixture of extremely advanced technology and deep environmentalism. It seems like a beautiful place but the locals are completely rabid due to somethin in the environment. They use magic to kill sacrifices to the overlord of their dimension, and they have to be fought and outrun. There are vintage terminals and tech everywhere in this place, and some of the terminals are puzzles that must be beaten to continue onwards. The Overlord of OtherPlace must be defeated before the player who followed the portal returns to a sunny glad in the forest they found the portal in.
